Nittany Beagle Rescue - Mimi

UPDATED 3/17/2026 Hi! My name is Mimi! I'm a 7-year old tricolor female beagle. I'm such a sweet girl! I love to give kisses! I used to be used for breeding. But my owners retired me & gave me to Nittany Beagle Rescue! I used to live in a barn. But I'm in a foster home now & I LOVE it! I love to lay on the cushy pillows & dog beds! I'm laid back - BUT I LOVE to play with other dogs! I really need a home where I have a doggie playmate! I'm also an escape artist & I'm very good at climbing! (I can climb over 4 foot baby gates!) So I need a securely fenced in yard - but not chain link, because I'll climb that for sure). I have managed to get on the counter in my foster home & I'll drop treats to the other dogs there. I'll also dash out the front door, so my new home will need to figure out a way to stop me from doing that! I guess I'm a bit of a stinker! I'm housetrained! I'm a little timid at first, but then I quickly warm up! I'm used to being around children of all ages on the farm where I lived. I'm up-to-date on vaccines & spayed!
