Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Abby, & I'm a 12-year old female tricolor beagle. My owner recently passed away, & so I'm looking for a new forever home. I'm nervous in new situations. And strange dogs seem to make me nervous also. I would love a home where I'm the only dog, & where my person is home all the time so I can get lots of pets! I lived with 2 cats, & my sister Lizzie, who is also available for adoption. Lizzie & I are in the same foster home, but we don't really spend any time together, and so my foster mom thinks it would be fine if we went to different forever homes. I am housetrained. But I don't really tell you if I need to go outside, so you just have to put me outside every 3 or 4 hours. I'm a good size girl, & it would be good if I lost a little weight. My ideal home would be a calm home where my people were home all or most of the time & I got lots of attention, & I was the only dog. I have not been around children, and so I will not be placed in a home with children or one where children come often to visit. Also a home with no stairs, or just a few steps would be best.
