Nittany Beagle Rescue is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization. There are many rewarding opportunities to volunteer:

Foster Homes

Nittany Beagle Rescue is always looking for beagle-friendly foster homes to provide a warm, safe environment for our beagles while they seek out their forever homes. Contact the foster home coordinator, Cathy Kassab, by email at cathy@bythenumbers.info to learn more about and apply to be a foster home.

Beagle Walkers

Nittany Beagle Rescue is looking for volunteers to walk our beagles that are staying at area kennels. Beagle walkers must have some experience with dogs and must complete a brief training session. To apply, please contact us by email at info@nittanybeaglerescue.org.

Beagle Handlers and Transporters

Our beagles are shown at events listed on the News/Events page. We are always looking for volunteers to work with the beagles being shown, as well as volunteers to transport beagles to and from their foster homes or kennels. To apply, please contact us by email at info@nittanybeaglerescue.org.
