Boh · Adopted 2020
![]() Bio at the Time of AdoptionHi! My name is Boh, but you could also call me Body. I'm a 6 year old tri-colored male beagle. I'm a big boy, close to 50 lbs, but not overweight. Vets say I might be mixed with another type of hound, but it's unknown. I don't have a mean or aggressive bone in my body, and have been raised with infants, toddlers, and a senior doggie brother. About 2 years ago, I had my first seizure. I'm currently on medication 2x a day to help. I can go months without them, but sometimes I have "cluster" seizures where multiple occur back to back. It would help if my new family had previous experience with seizures, or had someone to be at home with me daily to keep an eye out. I love attention and affection, and would love to sleep in the bed, but also like sleeping in my crate when it's cozy. I love being outside, whether on a walk or running around the fenced yard. I definitely need a fenced-in area or to be on a leash, otherwise my nose might take me on an adventure. I am strong & will pull on a leash, and sometimes I get excited when another dogs comes by. And so, my person would need to be strong enough to handle me when on a leash. I'm neutered, up to date on vaccines, crate trained, and house trained (I even tap at the door when I need (or want) to go outside). I will do just about anything for a treat. Am I right for you? |
