Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Riggs & I'm a super friendly 1-2 year old male tricolor beagle! I'm lived with cats & young children, & I'm great with them! I lived with my brother Frankie, who is also available for adoption. We do not need to be placed together. However, if we go to different homes, then we need a home with another dog who will be a buddy to me. I love to hang out on the couch with my person! I'm still at that chewing stage, so I need to be directed to toys & chew bones that are OK for me to chew on. I'll stare at the door when I need to go outside. But I still need some work on housetraining. My prior person would put me on a tie-out for 20-25 minutes or take me for occasional walks. But that wasn't enough for a young energetic guy like me! I need to go for long walks or hikes, and/or have lots of time to run around a securely fenced in back yard. I'm crate trained, & I'm used to spending the night in the crate. I'm a little guy - I only weigh about 20 lbs. I'm up-to-date on vaccines & will be neutered before I'm adopted. Please think about making me part of your family!
