This is a COURTESY POST. Shirley is a 10 month old spayed beagle mix who weighs 34 pounds. She has a very sweet disposition and a soft coat. Shirley is great with other dogs and is not reactive at all. She has just been exposed to two cats and was highly curious and lunged towards them and stressed them out. Most likely she would not be best with cats. She is quiet in a crate even though she does not like initially going inside. She slept all night in her crate without a sound or an accident. Shirley went to a foster home and she is now house trained and is quiet in the apartment all day. She also walks nicely on a leash now! She has spent time with an 8 and 10 year old and is good with them - she doesn't jump up on people either. Shirley is quiet in the house and rides very well in a car.
