Hi! My name is Maxwell & I'm a wonderful 3-year old beagle! I'm an affectionate & loving dog! I'm also a playful guy- I love to play fetch! I'm active, independent & love to smell everything! So you have to make sure I'm secured in a fenced yard or on a leash/tie-out when I'm outside. I will bark when there are things to bark at. I'm working on housetraining & making great progress, although sometimes I don't tell my person when I need to go outside. (I just need a little extra work in that area). I am crated during the day when no one is home. However, I like to sleep in bed with my people at night! I go outside about 5 times a day. Nittany Beagle Rescue was told that in Maxwell's prior home, he was exposed to children & is good with them. Maxwell lives with other dogs & a cat now, & gets along well with them. Maxwell is rambunctious when riding in a car - so it's probably best to crate him in the car if you take him anywhere. Maxwell is already neutered & up-to-date on vaccines.
