UPDATED 5/14/2024 Hi! My name is Otie! I'm a 2-4 year old male beagle. I was abandoned by my prior owner & this kind person took me in, but they can't keep me. So I'm looking for a lifetime loving home! I live with a 2-year old child in my temporary foster home & a small dog & a cat, & I'm great with all of them! (Sometimes I will bark at the cat to try to get the cat to play with me). I love to play with the other dog in my temporary foster home! I love to play fetch & tug-of-war! I'm also very good with other animals when I'm out on a walk. I'm making great progress on housetraining, but I still need work on it. So my new family will need to be patient with me on that. I will pee in the house when you leave me alone, but if you put a pee pad down, I'll pee on that. I also might have an accident overnight, but if you take me out about 11pm, I'll do better with holding it until morning. I've been going outside about every 3 hours & that works well. I'm terrified of the crate & will sometimes have an accident in it. But I'm making progress! So I just need a family who can patiently work with me on housetraining. I like to sleep with my foster mom at night! I'll also be protective of my person if someone is yelling at them. So I need a home where people are patient with each other. I will steal food from the other dog & from people. But that is just a household management issue. I like to go on car rides! I am up-to-date on vaccines & neutered! Now I just need my foreever home! Are you it? I'm about 35 lbs. or so.
