Hi! My name is Carla, & I'm a super sweet white & darkish-lemon beagle. I'm young - only 2-3 years old! I'm timid at first - but so very, very sweet! A shelter in PA pulled me from a shelter in Louisiana. I was at the shelter because I had been abused. Even with that history, I'm so extremely sweet! The shelter in PA wasn't able to keep me because I tested positive for heartworm after I got there. So they asked Nittany beagle Rescue to take me & they did! So that's how I got to NBR. NBR had me just tested for heartworm right after I got there, & I tested negative this time - so they'll do some more tests this week & go from there. I'm already spayed & up-to-date for vaccines. I'm looking for a home in the State College area until we get a treatment plan worked out, which should be very soon. (The plan might be as simple as giving me a heartworm preventative every month, & then retesting in 3 months). Anyways, I need a loving home! Please think about making me part of your family!
