UPDATED 4/25/2024 Hi! My name is Louise, & I'm a female beagle! I'm a young girl - maybe about 2 years old! I'm a friendly & playful girl! I'm a young girl, so I've got lots of energy! I would love to be in home that would play with me! I adore people! As you can see, I'm adorable! I weigh less than 20 lbs.! I was found as a stray & was at a shelter for a little while. But they had trouble finding me a home that understood beagles, & so here I am with Nittany Beagle Rescue! I've spent some time with children & I really like being with them! Since Nittany Beagle Rescue doesn't know my history, I will be placed in a home with older children who know how to properly treat a dog (about 8 years or older) or no children. I'm a beagle & so I'll run off if I'm not on-leash or in a fenced yard. Nittany Beagle Rescue was told I might prefer to be the only dog in the home. I'm still working on housetraining & crate training, but in one of the homes the shelter placed me in, they said I made a lot of progress with crate training. They had the crate in the bedroom with them at night. Nittany Beagle Rescue can provide some guidance with housetraining & crate training. also. I'll bark in the crate - at least at first. So I will not be placed with a family who lives in an apartment or townhouse. I'm already spayed & up-to-date on vaccines! I'm ready for my forever home! Are you it?!
