Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Douglas! I'm a super friendly 3-year old reddish/brown & white beagle! I love people & animals! I'm super sweet! I'm a fun & playful dog! I'm energetic & I love to play, especially when I'm outside! I've been around other dogs & cats, & I want to play with them. (I might chase a cat in fun.) I've grown up with a young child, & I did great with the child! I love to snuggle on the couch with my people! My people worked at home & so I'm used to someone being around most of the time. But when they would leave they would baby gate me in the kitchen area with my dog bed & I do just fine. At night, I would sleep in the kitchen area or sometimes I would sleep on the couch at night - it just depends where I was at when everyone went to bed. I'm paper trained rather than housetrained. (My people used an XL pee pad & I was very good about using it). I've never been crated. I could probably figure out housetraining fairly quickly if my new people are consistent & patient with me. Nittany Beagle Rescue can provide some advice on housetraining me. I weigh about 38 lbs. I'm already neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. Now I just need my forever home! Are you it?!
