Hi! My name is Sandy, & I'm a 5-year old female beagle! I'm an affectionate & loving dog! I love to be petted & to have my belly rubbed! I'm also an active girl. I'm very playful & my favorite games are tag, ball & tug-of-war! I came to Nittany Beagle Rescue through some kind people who saved me from being shot! Can you believe that - I am such an affectionate & loving dog! Now I am living in a boarding kennel & in desperate need of a home! I am housetrained. I like to ride in a car, but I can be rambunctious. I've lived with many dogs before & I do well with them. However, if another dog is aggressive towards me, I won't back down. I am a little possessive over my food. I have been diagnosed with heartworm. Nittany Beagle Rescue will pay for the treatment, but I need a home in which I can recover from the treatment. Please give me a home - either a temporary home or a forever home. You will be happy you did!
