Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Bruce & I'm a real sweetie! I'm a male tri-color beagle, & I'm about 7 years old. I'm a very mellow guy! The only thing I get really excited about are rabbits, chest rubs, and treats! I'm affectionate & easygoing! My favorite thing to do is to hang out on the couch with my person. I like to give "hugs"! I will come up to you, lean against you, and then roll over for a belly rub! I'm also quiet! I have been raised around children of all ages, & I am very good with them. I'm living in a house with another dog & cat, & I'm fine with them. I survived a house fire a couple of years ago, & in the past, I've been possessive over my food with other animals. I am housetrained & cratetrained. (I'm used to eating in my crate). I am about 20 lbs. overweight, & so I need a diet & some moderate exercise to help me get those extra pounds off! (I used to sleep in bed with my people, but then I got too heavy to get up on the bed. So for the past few years, I've been sleeping on the couch at night). I ride well in a car. In fact, I'm just happy to be with my people, wherever you may go! I'm already neutered! Please give me a chance! I just want a new family to love!
