Hi! My name is Copper & I'm a male tricolor beagle. I'm only about 3 years old, so I'm a young guy! I'm a happy, affectionate & sociable beagle! I'm also easygoing. I can be timid & a little fearful so you will want to take your time introducing me to new people and things. I just lack confidence! So I need someone who will help me be more sure of myself. I'm good around young children & other dogs. However, I do have a prey drive and go a little crazy around cats, birds, rabbits, deer & chickens. I can be possessive over my food, treats & toys. The family who rescued me worked with me on that, so I just need an experienced family. I like to sleep with my people or in the crate. If you leave, just put me in front of the crate & I will go in. I'm quite bright & and willing to learn - you just have to be willing to patiently tell me several times. I am also housetrained & neutered! I am staying in a boarding kennel & quite frightened!
