Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Abby Rose, & I'm an adorable female tricolor beagle! I'm about 3-4 years old, & I was rescued by a kind woman from a very bad situation. I am a lap dog & love affection! I just love to cuddle with my person on the couch! I am also active & playful: fetch, tug-of-war & ball are my favorite games! I adore children & would thrive in a home with children who would like to play with me! I am skittish of other dogs, particularly bigger ones, & so it would be best if I was the only dog in the home. (I will fight back if a dog picks a fight with me). I am also fearful of men, & so men in my family have to be gentle & let me take my time getting to know them. I am cratetrained & housetrained! I will go to the door knob & bounce when I need to go outside. Currently, I am crated when no one is home & at night, but that is because I live with other dogs & that's not a good situation. I probably would prefer to sleep with my person at night. I am spayed & up-to-date on shots. Are you the right family for me? If so, please think about making me part of your family!
