Chopper

Bio at the Time of Adoption

This sweetheart needs a home! Chopper was surrendered by his family to a shelter because they couldn't keep him anymore. Chopper lived with a younger dog, but that dog was adopted. The shelter was getting full, so Chopper came to Nittany Beagle Rescue. Chopper is a lemon & white male beagle - he's about 7 years young. He & the other dog lived outside, however the people who adopted the other dog said he is housetrained. So it is likely that Chopper is also. Chopper loves people! He also loves to lay on his back on the grass & sun himself! He is very well mannered. He can be a little shy when he first meets you, but then warms up & is quite loving! Chopper is already neutered & up-to-date on shots. He is currently living in a boarding kennel, but is anxious to become a member of a family! Chopper was raised as a hunting dog, and so he will put his nose to the ground and turns his hearing off. Consequently, Chopper can not be off-leash outside of a securely fenced yard. Because of his hunting background, he would go through an invisible fence. Click on Chopper's page to see another photo of this beautiful boy!
