Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Max, & I'm about 8 years old. I desperately need a home! I am good with children of all ages, other dogs & cats! I am extremely loving! I want to be close to my people - so I'll go where ever you go when we're inside the house. (But you can't let me off leash outside, or I'll follow my nose as most beagles do!) I can be timid & I'm frightened of loud sounds. I've been bounced around from home to home. I may have not have had enough to eat at one point in my life. So I will eat whatever I can find. For example, I might help myself if you are laying on the couch with a bowl of popcorn on your chest. I need some work on house manners. But I'm a smart boy & want to please! I need a family who will be kind & patient with me since I've had a pretty hard life. I am house trained, but you need to put me in the crate if you will be gone more than 4 hours (otherwise, I might have an accident). Please give me a home. I will be living in a boarding kennel soon, & I just want to be with people! I will be neutered before I'm adopted.
