Hi! My name is Freckles & I'm a very sweet male beagle mix! I'm about 6 or 7 years old. I need a new home! I'm an active fellow! I love to play, especially ball & tug! I'm good with other dogs, cats & children! I am also housetrained. When I need to go outside, I'll either bark or sit up real pretty. I am fine on a leash. I'll pull a bit on the leash when I go to the park (where there are lots of great smells!). I am very polite & attentive in an independent way! I will stay wherever you are & busy myself laying around or playing with a toy, or quietly watching you. I'm very obedient & I like to be next to my person (not on your lap or on top of you - but just close by). So I'm fantastic company for someone who is home a lot! I get anxious if you leave me alone. But I'm not destructive, instead I just get on any furniture I can get on (couch, bed, table ...). I am crate trained. So if you leave me alone, you could try putting me in a crate - I might be fine. It's best to speak to me in a gentle voice - I'll walk around with my tail between my legs if you use a firm voice. Poor Freckles has been bounced around a bit. His most recent owner had to surrender Freckles because he is allergic to him. Freckles is neutered & up-to-date on shots. He is living in a kennel & anxious to find his forever home!
