Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Gabby & I'm a wonderful 7-year old female beagle! I need a new home because my person passed away. I'm affectionate & easygoing! I'm a sociable dog - I get along well with children & other dogs. I love to play with children and other dogs! I've been around children as young as 1.5 years. I'm actually quite energetic & I like to be outside. I am housetrained & will whine at the door when I need to go outside. I like to sleep in bed with my person at night. Also, I enjoy car rides. I just recovered from knee surgery. I'm an active girl & it was hard to keep me quiet, but I'm doing well clinically. I have another knee that has given me problems in the past, but I'm doing fine now. However, my vet said that it's best to avoid overusing my rear legs (so probably a house without a lot of stairs would be best). I also have some separation anxiety and will bark when I'm alone. So I would do best in a home where there is another dog to keep me company. I don't like being in a crate. I am spayed, & up-to-date on shots.
