Bio at the Time of Adoption

My name is Daisy and I'm a 1.5 year old female beagle! I am fairly petite around 20-25lbs and have LOTS of energy! I love all people big and small! I love to play, especially with toys! I'm very excited to go on walks so I do pull, but I'm very food motivated so I am sure I could learn how not to. I'm nearly house trained, so if you don't catch my signal to go out I will potty inside. I can only hold it for so long! I enjoy being outdoors so I like to say I need to go potty when really I just want to sniff around the yard. I am an escape artist! I will try to sneak out of doors (including open car doors!), follow my nose, and will jump out of car windows if given the chance so I should never be let off leash. In true beagle nature I LOVE food! I will steal it from your plate, but am learning how to leave it. I am crate trained, so maybe during your dinner time it could be best if I hang out there. I am okay with cats! I am very interested in small animals like rabbits - probably best I don't live with one. I do really like other dogs once I get to know them! I can grumble a bit at first, but then once I learn where I belong I calm down. I play rough and loudly with the other beagle in my foster home but we have never hurt each other. I can get possessive of my toys with other dogs, but I am great with toys & people! If you'd like to meet Daisy please fill out an application and we'll set up a time to meet!
