Bio at the Time of Adoption

This sweet boy needs a new home! Cabela is a 7-year old male tricolor beagle. He only weighs about 25 lbs. Cabela is an active & affectionate boy! He is very friendly and playful! Cabela loves to play tug-of-war! He is a great companion & likes to sleep in bed with you at night. But he will sleep in a dog bed in the bedroom if you don't want him in bed with you. Also, Cabela is housetrained, neutered and up-to-date on shots! Cabela is good with other dogs & cats. He does not do well with young children, but he has always been fine with older children when on walks. To be on the safe side, Nittany Beagle Rescue won't place Cabela in a home with children younger than 10-12. Cabela can be crated for short periods of time (up to about 2 hours) - he becomes anxious after that. His former owners crated him when riding in the car, but he will probably be fine in a doggie seatbelt in the back seat. Please think about giving Cabela a home!
