Droopers

Bio at the Time of Adoption

This is a COURTESY POST. Hi! My name is Droopers, & I'm a wonderful male beagle/basset mix. I'm an older guy. I need a new home because my prior owner was no longer healthy enough to take care of me. I've been around other dogs & cats, & I got along great with them! I can be a little curmudgeonly (especially when you're trying to clean my ears or clip my toenails). I would do best in a home with people who know how to handle a sometimes curmudgeonly soul - such as a home with no children or teens. However, I should be fine when young grandchildren come to visit, as long as they know how to properly treat a dog. Please don't hug me - I don't like it. I'm housetrained & crate trained. I'll howl after I've been alone for about 4 hours. So I need a home where someone isn't gone more than 4 hours at a time. Please give me a home where I can love my person! I'm a wonderful companion! Click on Droopers' page to see another photo of him! I'm available for adoption through Centre County PAWS.
