Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Bongo! I'm a very sweet & friendly male tricolor beagle. I'm an affectionate & easygoing boy! I'm great with other dogs & cats. I've been around children as young as 2 years old, & I'm very gentle with them! I would do better in a home with other dogs. I like to play ball. I love to snuggle beside my person on the coach and easy chair. At night, I like to sleep with my person. I'm fine in the car, & I've always been crated when traveling in the past. I'm excellent on the "sit" and "wait" commands! I'm a sensitive soul & was probably abused in the past. So please don't raise your voice or lift your hand at me. It's important to remember that it may take awhile for me to become used to my new home. (In my prior home, I hid behind the couch for a week, other than to eat, drink or go outside). I'm about 7 years old & already neutered. I am housetrained, however, I will have accidents. I need to go out about every 4-5 hours, although I will use puppy pads if you put them out for me. I will whine or bark when I need to go outside - but I may not do that until I feel comfortable in my new home.
