Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Punky, & I'm a very sweet 2-year old male fox beagle. (Fox beagles are bred to hunt foxes & coyotes instead of rabbits). I was raised as a hunting dog & love to run - so it's important that I be on-leash or in a fenced area when outside. I also love to be with people & I'm very affectionate! I am a real lapdog! My prior owner was a hunter & he surrendered me because I really want to live in a house with a person. Except for 1 week, I've lived my entire life in a kennel. During that week I lived inside, I got to sleep in bed with my person. I loved it! I want to be part of a family & cuddle with my people on the couch & in bed at night! Because I've spent nearly my entire live in a kennel, I will need work on housetraining & house manners. But I'm really smart & I should learn quickly! I ride really well in a car! Also, I walk well on a leash! Please give me a chance & make me part of your family! Punky is living in a kennel right now, so he is looking for a temporary foster home as well as his forever adoptive home! Punky is up-to-date on shots & will be neutered before being adopted.
