Hi! My name is Louis, but my friends call me Louie! I'm an easygoing male beagle. I'm a very friendly boy! I love people! I'm an older fellow. I need a new home because my owner went into a nursing home. I'm quiet for a beagle. I'm also pretty independent, so I may not listen to you if you give me a command. I get along with other dogs & cats. I haven't been raised with children, but I really like the children that visit me when Nittany Beagle Rescue shows me at Petco in State College. Because I'm older, I will be placed in a home no children or where children are old enough to know how to treat me properly. I am housetrained, but my prior owner would forget to let me outside, so I have accidents in the house sometimes. I'm in a foster home now, & they are giving me a refresher on housetraining. I'm a good size beagle - about 35 lbs. I ride well in a car. I'm already neutered & up-to-date on vaccines. . Please make me part of your family! You'll be glad you did!
