Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Nora & I'm a very sweet 10-year old female red & white beagle. I'm such a sweet girl! I'm an affectionate & loving dog! And I'm a happy girl, too! I love to be petted & to have my belly rubbed! I'm good with other dogs & cats. I'm also good with children. I am housetrained & crate trained. When I need to go outside, I will stand at the door. So if you don't see me, I may have an accident (since you didn't let me out!). I'm used to going out every 4-6 hours. If you are gone all day, it's fine to crate me (to make sure I don't have an accident in the home). But I can roam free in the home if you are gone for a few hours and at night. I enjoy being on the couch, and I may even want to sleep with you! I walk well on a leash - which is unusual for a beagle. I will escape out the door & wander off, so you have to be very careful about opening the door. It would be best to have a double entry system so I can't get out. I need a new home because my people are moving to a city, and it wasn't a good situation for me. While I get along fine with other dogs, I don't like to eat around them.
