Hi, My name is Pokey and I am an adult male tricolor beagle. I was caught in a trap, and a kind man got me out. I am terrified of people, although I seem to have a very gentle nature. I am looking for a quiet home where the people will pet me a little each day and treat me with loving care. I am starting to relax a little bit around some people. The folks at Nittany Beagle Rescue are sure that if I'm cared for by patient and loving folks, I will become a loving member of the family. A home with a securely fenced yard is preferred for Pokey. Pokey is living in a kennel right now and is very frightened. Pokey desperately needs a foster home. Pokey is up-to-date on shots and will be neutered before being adopted.
