Happy Tails

Darla is doing very well. She’s a great dog. Although timid upon arrival, she has settled right in to her new home.

I was prepared for the worst having experienced some challenging doggie-behavior in the past from previously loved and now-departed pets, but Darla has never had any separation anxiety, rarely barks, doesn’t chew and is an overall angel. She’s very smart and learns commands quite quickly. Long walks and hugs are her preference.

It was definitely worth the six-hour round trip I took to adopt her. Something about her photo called to me and I thank Nittany Beagle Rescue and her foster family for saving such a gem. She’s bringing a lot of joy to me, my family and friends.

I hope others continue to recognize the joy of beagle ownership and adopt all who need homes. They are the best!
