Mia

Happy Tails

Mia is a terrific dog and is adjusting well to her new household. Mia and the older dog in the family get along well. Mia is on the left in the photo. Mia sleeps next to our other dog on my bed, hogs the covers, and her favorite toy is an empty water bottle. She is VERY interested in the state of her food bowl and waits patiently for the older dog to finish her meal so she can lick that bowl clean too. I find that she also supplements her diet with sunflower seed hulls from underneath the bird feeders, bits of fruits and vegetables, grasses and any dog biscuit not well-guarded.

She has the run of a large, fenced-in backyard, patrolling for any rabbit or chipmunk in the perimeters. She digs up the occasional plant, stomps seed beds flat with her big white feet, and is very affectionate and cheerful. She is beautiful with her slick and shiny white coat, black “eye-liner”, and pink and black speckled belly.

Mia is good company, anxious to please, and makes me smile with her antics. Thank you all for allowing me to adopt this lovely beagle into my household.
